Boston Silent Auction

Our Annual Boston Silent Auction Fundraiser was held Saturday, May 30th at the Impact Hub in Boston. The event was a huge success. We had over 120 people in attendance and raised about $9,000. A huge thanks to our food and beverage sponsors, Anna’s Taqueria, Flatbread Somerville, KEEL Vodka, Samuel Adams, Gosling’s Rum and Downeast Cider House.

The event kicked off around 7 pm, the space buzzing with reunions of old friends, and introductions of new ones. The silent auction included items from Artemis Design Co., photography by Ryan Struck and Chris Burkhart, Red Sox tickets, prints from Brainstorm Print & Design Co., surf lessons from Cinnamon Rainbows among various other things.

This event would not have been possible without the effort of our hard working event committee, volunteers, the VSP staff in chile and on the ground in the US. Special thanks to Dean Thompson, event coordinator, and all committee members: Seth Meyer, Liani Bolaños, Jessica Harris, Nina Berg, Avi Minder, Nate Boggs, Zeke Gillette, Tom Meehan, Varun Konanki, Brendan Buckland, Amanda Pillsbury, Tallulah Knopp, and Nick Napolitano.
