Ceremonia FNDR

Recently the Valpo Surf Project won a grant from the regional government to support community development. The project was launched this past week and will last for a period a 3 months. Formally titled, Valpo Surf Project: Promoting the Culture of Sport and Healthy Lifestyles, the finances from the grant will allow us to buy more wetsuits and surfboards.

Last Tuesday, we initiated the project with an opening ceremony here in the office. We shared coffee, tea and snacks with parents and VSP students and celebrated the start of the summer and arrival of the new gear.

We are looking forward to summer to take advantage of new equipment, especially since we will be at the beach every day. Keep up to date on our social media for photos with the new gear funded by the grant!
